Sensor issues
There have been some reports from past participants that emTripLog wasn’t recording their trips. We found that it was due to aggressive battery management policies implemented by each Android OEM brand (Samsung, Huawei, etc.). If your phone restricts app operation in the background. This prevents the app from tracking your location or pushing it to the server. Please enable background operation for this app with the following instructions:
On Samsung: Go to ‘Settings’ → ‘Power mode’ → Select ‘High performance’
On Huawei: Go to ‘Settings’ → ‘Battery manager’ → ‘Protected apps’ → Enable protection for emTripLog
